Bondings

Bonding can provide a quick solution to many smile imperfections. The tooth enamel is gently etched to enhance adhesion before Dr. Gershkowitz applies a color matched resin compound over teeth that are crooked, short, chipped, decayed or broken. A special light is then used to harden and bond it to the tooth underneath.
Unlike veneers and crowns, bonding does not require removal of any part of your original teeth. Although advances in bonding material have strengthened its character, proper care must be taken to maximize the longevity of your bonding. Nail biting, chewing on ice or using your teeth as tools must be avoided.
